About Restaurant Week

Restaurant week is presented by the Greater Yakima Chamber of Commerce and is open to all restaurants seeking to  participate. This weeklong event celebrates and promotes fantastic local restaurants, all while helping students in our community learn culinary and business skills through the Urban Kitchen program and the Yakima Police Athletic League (YPAL).

We anticipate the event will increase traffic to your restaurant by highlighting exciting offerings during this typically slower time of the year. Based on follow-
up from Restaurant Week 2018, participating restaurants reported great success.

By participating in Restaurant Week, we hope you will help us raise awareness not only for our local culinary scene, but also for the Urban Kitchen program and our community’s future restaurateurs.

If you have more questions, feel free to contact us at yakimarestaurantweek@gmail.com. We hope you’ll join us this year!!

Why Should You Join?

Consider Participating with Your Business in 2020

We believe this event can significantly increase your restaurant’s exposure. Because of the Chamber connections and community reach, Restaurant Week has the potential to bring first-time customers through your doors! Additionally, joining this event is an investment in the youth of our city through your support of a great cause: Urban Kitchen. All proceeds from this event will be donated to this program, which operates in partnership with the Yakima Police Activities League, teaching at-risk students culinary and business skills and encouraging them to seek career opportunities within the restaurant sector.
